As Scotland's larder, Galloway produces excellent beef, lamb and dairy products whilst the area
boasts some of the very best salmon rivers anywhere in Scotland - an angler's paradise!
Hardly surprising,
therefore, that we should want our dishes to reflect this.

An example of some specials:
Fish cake made with Scottish salmon, haddock
and smoked salmon from the local Marrbury Smokehouse with sweet chilli dip or monkfish crisps served with a garlic and
lemon mayonnaise as a starter followed by a main course of pan-fried wild mullet with a devilled butter, fresh leaf salad
and buttery new potatoes.
