All food served at 'The Hoose' at House o’ Hill is freshly prepared using locally sourced produce, from our meats and fish to our fine cheeses. We serve good honest, home-made food in a convivial, relaxed atmosphere. Come and try our wild venison, straight from the Galloway Hills. For those with a love of the sea, most of our fish and shellfish is caught from local waters – experience a real taste of Galloway.

Dumfries and Galloway is a foodie’s paradise, boasting fantastic lamb, beef, fish, shellfish, game and cheese. To give you a flavour of this amazing rural larder, we try to reflect this produce in our menus that change with the season. We also run specials to ensure we don’t miss any opportunities such as a fresh catch offered by our local fishermen, local salt marsh lamb from our butcher or some freshly smoked meat and fish from our local smokehouse.
